Gallery Statement
We are a young but vigorously working commercial gallery in Seoul Korea.
The selection of artworks we deal include not only acclaimed but also emerging contemporary Korean and
foreign artists' works that are exceptional, which range from Korean painting to interactive media works.
The artworks of emerging Korean artists we deal in are innovative.
We have also been very active in establishing a global network, which made us capable of showing
strong one-of-a-kind exhibitions, including Michael Wolf and Zadok Ben-David.
Bonhams, an international Auction House based in London, U.K., is one of the biggest auction houses
in the world along with Sotheby's and Christie's. On the 20th of June in 2006,
Janet Oh Gallery took charge of selecting Korean artists for the auction sales of
"Contemporary East Asian Art." Specialists have analyzed that it was a platform
for Korean contemporary art to make inroads into foreign markets over Hong kong and China.
